GUIDED HIKES AROUND THE CAPE
We guide epic hikes around the Western Cape. We focus on Table Mountain hikes and Cederberg hiking trails. Our qualified guides have decades of experience in the mountains, constantly striving to share the stoke and sense of adventure with our clients.

OUR HIKING ETHOS
We prefer the road less travelled. This means we tend to stick to routes with less traffic and perhaps one’s you’ve never heard of. As a way to maximise the adventure, we always try to never hike down the same route we went up.
This could mean hiking a circular route, catching the cable car down, or even hiking up from one side, descending the other side and catching an Uber back to base. Our goal is simple – to do the raddest hikes possible. Come join us!

Where does Cape Trek operate?
We guide hikes all over the Western Cape, South Africa. Most of the hikes we guide are on Table Mountain and in the Cederberg.
What is the average group size of your hikes?
We typically guide groups between 2 to 8 people. We find this group size is optimal for overall efficiency, flexibility and enjoyment. We also offer private guiding.
What time do your guided hikes start?
It depends on the time of year and the weather forecast for that day. Typically they start in the morning between 7am and 9am. In the summer we also offer some afternoon hikes.
How fit do I need to be?
It depends on the hike you choose. For some hikes, a moderate level of fitness is required. For others, you would need to have a high level of fitness. If you’re unsure of which hike best suits your fitness level, please reach out to us and we can advise accordingly.
